Boulus Constructions, Armidale is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Company for its Quality Management Systems.   It has been certified by Quality Control Services (Environmental) for Quality Management Systems (AS/NZS ISO9001:2015). The ISO 9001 system has been utilised by Boulus Constructions to constantly improve efficiency by standardising processes and procedures to have quality output, thereby enhancing the deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders.

Boulus Constructions is also an ISO 14001:2015 Certified Company for its Environmental Management Systems and has all systems in place to comply with environmental standards as required by the statute.

Boulus Constructions is AS/NZS 4801:2001 certified for its OH&S Management Systems and the systems are compliant with the State and Federal Safety legislations.  Boulus Constructions is accredited by NSW Land and Housing Corporation for its OHS Management Systems and is currently in the process of applying for accreditation from Federal Safety Commission.

Boulus Constructions meets the requirements of the combined Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environment Management Systems (EMS) and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) related issues which are critical for our Customers and other stakeholders.  This is controlled by the Quality Systems  Representative who is the Compliance Manager to ensure this new and integrated system is implemented to provide efficient services to its Customers at all times.

Boulus Constructions has achieved New South Wales Government accreditation for Corporate OHS Management System; this system includes the practices to monitoring safe work method statements, site inductions, risk management and emergency planning.  The company staff receives the training necessary to ensure safe and best practices are applied during works and these are complimented by strong code of conduct to meet its customer service standards.

Boulus Constructions established systems include comprehensive inspection and monitoring controls, our records and information is consolidated into relevant and contractual reports.  In particular Boulus Constructions prides itself in the formulation of client specific reports which have included:

Quality management, occupational health and safety, environmental management and local participation plans, Inspection and test results of the timeliness and quality of works completed, Accident and investigation of incidences within the workplace.

Customised clients reports on project progress and asset programmed management; Programming schedules provided on MS Project.

The organisation has the adaptability to address client specific requirements to ensure works are performed on time and on budget.

The registration records are managed and maintained by internal review mechanisms and the reports focus on currency of insurances, certifications, safe work method statements, and OHS Induction and workmanship inspection results.  The subcontractors and suppliers continue to work with Boulus Constructions in partnership due to commitment to internal customer service, social responsibility, work reliability and future sustainability.
